Our Policies at The Inn At St. John


  • The Inn is an older structure without an elevator. Please request a "Lobby Level" room if needed, and we'll accommodate based on availability.

Candles and Flames

  • Lighting candles or incense in guest rooms is prohibited. Any violations will incur cleaning or damage charges.


  • Parking behind the Inn at St. John along with Off-street parking is available at Union PlazaPlaza (spaces 5 – 24). Parking on the street or in private lots may result in ticketing or towing at the owner's expense.

Check-In and Check-Out

  • Check-in begins at 3 pm, and check-out is by 11 am.

  • Late arrivals are no problem, as our reception desk is staffed 24/7.

  • Early check-in: Guests may drop off luggage at the front desk and park in our lot until their room is ready!

Reservation and Cancellation

  • To reserve a room, provide a valid credit card and be charged for the first night upon booking.

  • Free cancellation up to 24 hours before arrival; within 24 hours, the first night's deposit is non-refundable.

  • We DO NOT accept cash.

  • Same-day cancellations are NOT eligible for cancellations at all.


The Inn at St. John is a non-smoking hotel. Smoking in rooms incurs a $275 cleaning fee. Designated smoking areas are provided outside

Dog Friendly

  • Dogs are welcome with no fee or size/breed restrictions.

  • Please do not leave dogs unattended.
